United Yoruba of Tulsa Association is a non-profit Organization with a primary purpose to promote the quality of life of the people of Yoruba Land. Preserve and support the cultural heritage, render humanitarian assistance, encourage community development and growth as well as mobilize the sons, daughters, and friends of Yoruba land to join us in community building and services to our people and our great land.
The United Yoruba of Tulsa as an association takes pride in community projects by giving high priority to community development projects as part of her social responsibilities. The association through it’s several mechanisms put in place to raise funds for these projects has done a lot in community development and is not sitting on her haunches but with the determination of doing more through Charitable Donations from individuals, corporate bodies and government agencies and members’ internal fundraising programs.

The mission of the United Yoruba of Tulsa (UYOT) is to unite and strengthen the Yoruba community by preserving and promoting our rich cultural heritage, fostering meaningful connections, supporting families, empowering our youth, and serving the greater community. We are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive community where Yoruba values, language, traditions, and identity are celebrated and passed on to future generations.
